In a nutshellis that the U. S. is a hotbed for pain and inflammation, especially in the short-term. In the past, it's been a mainstay of therapy, with a lot of attention paid to chronic pain and inflammation, while in recent years, it's been given a significant role in health-related quality of life.
The first of many therapies is a pain relief medication called Voltaren (pronounced "v").
Voltaren has been used for over two decades, and has been shown to reduce inflammation and pain in a variety of conditions. However, it does come with some side effects, so we've looked into these risks with a little of your best bet. Voltaren, also known as diclofenac, is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) available over the counter.
There are some risks associated with Voltaren.
One of the potential side effects of Voltaren is that it can cause a range of serious health problems, including heart attacks, kidney failure, and blood clotting problems. It can also cause bleeding problems, which is another possible adverse effect of Voltaren.
Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). The main component is diclofenac sodium, which is found in topical applications. Diclofenac is also available in oral, injectable, and over-the-counter forms, but topical applications are still a great option for many people.
The most common side effects of Voltaren include skin irritation, which is usually mild to moderate and usually goes away after discontinuing the medication.
The FDA says that it's safe to use Voltaren if taken at the recommended doses. The manufacturer warns against using it in children and adolescents under 12 years of age. The FDA also says that diclofenac should be used only under a doctor's care.
The manufacturer warns against using Voltaren in patients over 65 years of age.
For people with a history of kidney disease or an underlying medical issue, a lower-than-recommended dose of Voltaren may be more effective than a longer-term course of treatment.
The FDA says that diclofenac may have a higher risk of causing bleeding and ulcers.
It's also important to remember that Voltaren should not be used in children under the age of 18. There are no documented safety and efficacy studies that have evaluated its use in children, although it's important to discuss with a doctor how the medication may interact with your child.
Voltaren is a prescription drug, and there are no studies to indicate that Voltaren is safe in the United States or other countries.
It's important to note that if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding, you should consult a doctor and ask about diclofenac.

You may have seen both short and long-term over-the-counter (OTC) drugs for treating pain and inflammation. These medications may be the first and the only medications you may need for acute conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis. Prescription OTC medicines for pain and inflammation vary between manufacturers, but all may be safe and effective for many people.
OTC medicines for pain and inflammation are usually taken as a stand-alone prescription medicine. They may also be referred to as prescription pain relief. In clinical trials, researchers have seen many patients taking OTC medicines for pain and inflammation taking doses as low as 50 milligrams (mg).
The FDA says that OTC medicines for pain and inflammation may be safe and effective for many people. Here’s what you need to know about OTC pain medicines and how to take them.
There are two types of prescription medicines for pain and inflammation. These medicines are called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These drugs include over-the-counter medicines such as ibuprofen (Advil® or Motrin®), naproxen (Aleve®), celecoxib (Celebrex®), and others. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) include aspirin (Aspen®), diclofenac (Voltaren®), ibuprofen (Advil® or Motrin®), naproxen (Aleve®), and others. NSAIDs can be taken OTC, prescription or an over-the-counter. Prescription NSAIDs are typically taken in doses of 1-2 mg (mg) per day.
Acute pain is usually felt within a few minutes after taking a tablet. But, as with all prescription medicines, it may take several weeks for the medicine to show effects. Some OTC medicines may take longer to show effects if taken for a long time. Some OTC medicines may not show effects for a short time. Some medicines may not be as effective for a longer time.
